Children & Youth Ministries

We provide Christian Education and Discipleship options for children and youth, ages two through eighteen. Thank you for the privilege of partnering with you in sharing the faith with your children!

Sunday Mornings

During 8:30am Worship

Children in Worship

During the 8:30 am worship service, young children ages four through eight years old are invited upstairs to an age-appropriate liturgical worship service based on Stewart & Berryman’s Young Children and Worship. This contemplative, unplugged method of sharing Bible stories with young children utilizes children’s sense of wonder and learning through play.

During 9:45am Spiritual Growth Hour

Children's Classes

Children ages four through ten meet in room 203 at 9:45 am. For this class we open with prayer and a song, and then divide into two age-based groups. Ages four through seven use the DWELL curriculum from Faith Alive Resources, while ages eight through ten will use In the Beginning...Jesus from Truth:78.

Youth Classes

Middle School

Students in grades 6-8 meet in room B4 at 9:45. They will work through the book What's Up: Discovering the Gospel, Jesus, and Who You Really Are by Harrell & Klumpenhower, along with having hands-on activities and projects.

High School

Students in grades 9-12 are invited to the B5 youth lounge for their Sunday School class at 9:45. This year they will use the Truth:78 curriculum Open My Eyes, which teaches high school students how to read and understand the Bible. Students are encouraged to bring their own ESV BIble with them. A Bible will be provided for anyone who doesn't have a personal Bible to bring.

Parents' Place Rooms

Parents who bring their children to Sunday School classes are invited to use these two hospitality rooms while their children are in class during the 9:45 - 10:45 Spiritual Growth hour at Bellefield. Parents' Place rooms have coffee/tea, light refreshments, and seating for any parents who aren't attending adult Sunday School classes. Guest wifi access is provided.

Toddler Lesson

Our class for two and three year olds meets during the second morning worship service. A story from the God Loves Me storybook series by Patricia L. Nederveld is read to the toddlers, followed by a craft or activity.

Children’s Church

Children’s Church meets in room 203 during our second morning worship service on Sunday mornings, for children ages four through ten years old. We use Crossway’s The Biggest Story curriculum and Seeds Kids Worship music to teach the Bible. Children go upstairs to their class after opening worship and return to their parents in the sanctuary after the conclusion of the sermon.
