Children & Youth Ministries
We provide a wide range of professional services to meet your needs. We promise to provide every service with a smile, and to your highest level of satisfaction.
Sunday Mornings
Children in Worship
During the 8:30 am worship service, young children ages four through eight years old are invited upstairs to an age-appropriate liturgical worship service based on Stewart & Berryman’s Young Children and Worship. This contemplative, unplugged method of sharing Bible stories with young children utilizes children’s sense of wonder and learning through play.
Sunday School
Children ages four through ten meet in room 203 during Bellefield’s Spiritual Growth Hour from 9:45 am to 10:45 am starting September 14, 2025 for Sunday School. For this class we use the DWELL curriculum from Faith Alive Resources. DWELL teaches about the Bible from a distinctively Reformed perspective, and provides the most in-depth Bible instruction for this age group. After opening with prayer and a song, we divide into two age-based groups of 4-6 and 7-10 for our lesson.
Toddler Lesson
Our class for two and three year olds meets during the second morning worship service. A story from the God Loves Me storybook series by Patricia L. Nederveld is read to the toddlers, followed by a craft or activity.
Children’s Church
Children’s Church meets in room 203 during our second morning worship service on Sunday mornings, for children ages four through ten years old. We use Crossway’s The Biggest Story curriculum and Seeds Kids Worship music to teach the Bible. Children go upstairs to their class after opening worship and return to their parents in the sanctuary after the conclusion of the sermon.
