Q. 49 What benefit do we receive from Christ’s ascension into heaven?
A. First, that he is our Advocate in the presence of his Father in heaven. Second, that we have our flesh in heaven as a sure pledge that he, as the Head, will also take us, his members, up to himself. Third, that he sends us his Spirit as a counterpledge by whose power we seek what is above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God, and not things that are on earth.

Our summer ministry for college age students, will begin the first Wednesday in June. If you are around for the summer and would like to be on the distribution list to hear what is going on in Pittsburgh for the summer contact Chris Ansell (chris@bellefield.org). The Wednesday night fellowship involves, volleyball, food, Bible Study and movies.
All announcements in the bulletin, Belle, email, and worship service must be approved by the chair of the appropriate council before being published. Please include the name of the approving elder, when submitting the announcement to the office.
